ST Patch Cord

A patch cord is a fibre optic cable used to attach one device to another for signal routing. ST stands for Straight Tip- a quick release bayonet style connector. ST connectors are cylindrical with twist lock coupling. This design provides non-optical disconnect terminations and a push-pull coupling mechanism. The ST connector secured at both ends of the patch cable also has a bayonet lock for securing the connection of the patch cord to the device. ST fibre optic patch cords maintain durability even in excessive pulls, strains, snags, and impacts during cabling installs and maintenance.
