Rope Cabling No.4

Rope Cabling 4 is a low-stretch rope specifically designed for underground cabling tasks. Featuring an eye splice at each end, this rope is manufactured from aromatic polyamide fibre forming the inner core, covered by a polyester braided outer jacket. This construction provides low elongation under load and ensures durability. The outer jacket offers sufficient friction between the rope and the winch capstan, preventing slippage when under load. To enhance this friction further, a durable coating is applied to the outer jacket. This prevents the need for an excessive number of rope turns around the capstan, ensuring secure operation. Rope Cabling 4 is tested in accordance with BS EN919 and other standard test methods. It is supplied in a colour tailored to the client's requirements. Both ends of the rope are spliced to form soft eyes, which maintain the minimum spliced breaking strength without pulling out or breaking. Each reel of rope includes splicing instructions enclosed in a clear, sealed plastic envelope for easy reference.
