Aerial Distribution Box
The Aerial Distribution Box is a pole-mounted termination point where the feeder cable connects to drop cables in an FTTx network. It brings fibre splicing, splitting, distribution, storage and cable connection together in one compact unit, giving network builders a single, well-protected point to manage fibre on the overhead network. The body is made from ABS with PC material, keeping it strong yet light enough for straightforward installation at height. It accommodates both cable glands and tie-wraps for cable entry, includes a lock for security, and offers space for adding splitters as the network grows. SC adapters and distribution connections can be installed without screws or tools, reducing time spent on the pole, and installation kits are provided so the box is also ready for wall mounting. PIA Approved and suitable for pole mounting, the Aerial Distribution Box gives FTTx operators and contractors a dependable, secure enclosure for connecting customers on overhead routes.
