Aerial Subscriber Node

The Aerial Subscriber Node is a pole-mounted termination point where the feeder cable connects to customer drop cables in an FTTx network. It integrates fibre splicing, splitting, distribution, storage and cable connection in one enclosure and can serve up to 24 customer connections, making it well suited to overhead routes that serve a cluster of homes or businesses from a single pole. The impact-resistant enclosure protects fibres and connections from knocks and the elements, while durable sealing clips keep the unit closed securely between visits. A high-quality hinge mechanism allows the cover to be fixed open at a set angle, so engineers have both hands free when connecting customers or carrying out maintenance at height. PIA Approved and suitable for pole mounting, the Aerial Subscriber Node gives network operators and installation contractors a robust, easy-to-access point for connecting and managing customers on the overhead FTTx network.
