Chamber Distribution Box
The Chamber Distribution Box is a fibre optic closure for splicing and distributing fibre cables, primarily in underground networks. It provides six round in/out cable ports that accept cables between 8mm and 20mm in diameter, giving flexibility to route feeder and distribution cables through a single enclosure. Inside, splice trays with a capacity of 24 fibres keep spliced fibres organised and protected, making the box well suited to distribution points where a feeder cable is broken out towards customers. Manufactured from high-quality thermoplastic with high mechanical strength, the enclosure is designed to withstand the conditions found in underground chambers and footway boxes. An integrated seal keeps it airtight and waterproof, protecting against water, dirt and dust ingress that can degrade splices over time.
